Smooth pencils, large color palette

Haven't used pencils in real drawings yet, but made a swatch and grouped by color. Just by making samples I could see that the pens are really smooth, the colors are bright and accurate; very pigmented. The color names are fun too and match the pencil tones perfectly, except maybe one or two (if you care). The darkest shades I have in each color group are very saturated from a single coat of paint. The only drawback so far is the packaging. I initially thought it was fun and unique, but after removing the clear stickers covering the top, some of the packaging came off itself. It's disappointing as it doesn't look brand new now (only got it today). Another disadvantage of video packaging is the content inside. I don't like the way the cardboard cylinder comes out. Maybe you should throw it away and it's just for protection, but I don't know. Overall, I'm very excited to try them out and see how they fit together. There is a really good variety of colors. If you're thinking of getting them, do it. But I'll try a different package. Also, these pencils are in the shape of a triangle instead of the standard circle. I personally like it, I feel like I have more grip and control over my pen. I hope it sharpens well with a regular plain sharpener.

Pros
  • Freehand work
Cons
  • Very expensive
