PROS: Integrated fingerprint reader. No software required, a built-in app is included, also Windows recognizes and you can use the encryption features of Windows or any other operating system you use. There is an option to use encryption or not. Solid metal, durable body. Nice sleek design if you buy it for looks. Works cool for a long time. , I can easily hack through software encryption, literally almost no security (I'm not a regular home user) - Doesn't have AES 256-bit hardware encryption. - Slow read and write speed. - The built-in application has no certificates, unknown built-in third-party application, so you don't know if they are stealing your data. - USB 3.0 only, but appears to be using a low-level controller as that's a speed bottleneck. - Unknown brand, no technical support, no warranty information whatsoever - The controller is not encrypted, the software is only encrypted. Can't find a datasheet online, what controller does it use? What protocols or security certificates does it have? Nothing! - Unusable company website, some dubious product. I am not suggesting trusting this product to store any important data, documents or information.
