It folded in half like soft cheese when I applied pressure. I know it's not rated for a load anywhere, but you won't get a deal buying it if you have a tough job. I have a very rusty hub that needs to be removed from a splined shaft and figured I could do it with about a ton of pressure. before that he begins to bow in the middle. The levers appear to be tool steel, but the crossbar is soft iron. It's probably fine for pulling pulleys, but if I had to do it again I'd just buy something that would last more than a few pulls. Whatever the case, I just added the cost of this thing to every better tool I could get my hands on.
