I first became interested in the JGAUROA line of 3D printers when I was looking online for options that I thought would be good for classroom use. I've heard complaints from students and teachers about the 3D printers they are currently using. Students were burned by exposed parts, and teachers constantly had to repair parts that the students intentionally or unintentionally damaged. I wanted a 3D printer that was SAFE and easy to use, reliable and high volume. With all these requirements, I thought I couldn't find a 3D printer that was affordable enough to be used in classrooms at scale, but I was wrong. Enter JGAURORA's A5 3D printer! The following review is based on my experiences and thoughts as an advocate for education, creativity and safety, but this review is not just for students and educators. This review is for everyone. First, this printer is very easy to unpack and assemble. The first time I assembled it by myself, then I took it apart and had a 16 year old student put it back together. It's also incredibly easy to use. Usually you have to spend over $1000 to get a touchscreen printer but the A5 has it and it works really well! It's responsive, accurate, and when a pressure-critical key is pressed, it asks for confirmation before performing the action. You can never accidentally screw anything up. While I recommend adults assemble these printers, young teens can easily assemble these printers with a little adult supervision. Second, if you've done your research, you might know that other 3D printers ship with 3D printed parts or less. stable. The frame of this printer is ALL metal and is incredibly strong. Even the printer's maximum settings for movement along the X and Y axes cannot pivot the frame. The only 3D printed parts on this printer are the fan extruder and you WANT that part to be 3D printed so you can easily print a new one and replace it if needed (JGAURORA conveniently supplies a USB stick with each printer with lots of intuitive instructions with instructions in English, as well as print files including a new fan extruder that you can print out at any time in about an hour). By the way, the Black Diamond glass bed works AMAZING and I'm sure you'll be hearing from other reviewers here on Amazon and online. This bed CAN be replaced if you ever want it, but it's strong enough you'll never need it. Third, JGAURORA listens to its user base. In my experience, it is a specialized company that is constantly improving its line of machines. You may have read that there are several versions of the A5 with various improvements. Rest assured this Revain list is the latest version with lots of community feedback on this amazing machine. The most notable of these is that the wires on the greenhouse do not cross the portal at any point. If you see this problem in other people's reviews or videos, rest assured that this printer has fixed it and everything is working fine. Fourth, this JGAURORA printer comes with everything you need to get started. It comes with a tool kit consisting of 4 different sized wrenches (only 2 of these sizes are needed to assemble the printer, the other 2 can be used to take the machine apart and add your own modifications which we will cover later will) . ), a professionally calibrated bed alignment tester, a simple instruction manual with item ID and quality control stamp, an additional hotend (AMAZING add-on) and additional parts for all parts of the machine that can wear out over time, but all of these parts look very strong out, and I'd be surprised if any of them wore out. You also get a free roll of PLA so you can start making great prints right away. It is vacuum packed, which ensures the best quality even after delivery with supposedly different aircraft carrier air pressure. I wasn't expecting to see any of this, but it cemented my confidence in choosing JGAURORA. Fifth, as I mentioned earlier, this machine can be disassembled and modified. While it works great without add-ons, some people want to add their own WIFI chips to connect to Raspberry Pi computers, or add a laser for automatic level control. All of this is possible and there are many Youtube videos on the internet as well as many forums where people with ideas and experiences intuitively post their methods on the JGAURORA A5. It is rare to find a car that is so perfect and elegant but can be modified if interested. I know this is a huge benefit for many people, but it is by no means necessary as this machine works so well on its own. Changes are not required, but possible. Six: I've printed quite a few on this printer, all without a single error. Normally, the first time the printer is used, errors that need to be corrected and calibrated appear immediately. Just not with this car! The first thing I printed was a calibration cube and I've never had such a good first print. After trying a few different shapes I went straight to 24 hour printing and the JGAURORA A5 worked flawlessly. It was also so quiet that I was able to sleep in the next room just on the other side of the door. When Overwatch fans are in the house, we're talking a Halo of Mercy. The printer is capable of printing an entire full size halo in one piece but I wanted to test it and see if it could print 4 pieces individually with enough precision that they would all fit together and it did! Seven: Continuing the above, this printer has impeccable print quality. Especially cosplayers who use these items to create professional quality props will be very pleased. Huge size is usually a trade-off for quality, but not with the A5. Experiment with your slicer settings and you'll find that even when the settings aren't perfect, you'll be rewarded with prints that can be turned into works of art. If you don't need to print under 0.1m, this is the printer you need! In summary, the JGAURORA A5 printer is the perfect choice for any hobbyist, cosplayer, D&D activist, teacher, student, even 3D modeler and expert with a lot of experience. Enjoy the versatility of this machine. I highly recommend this 3D printer. (The video I went with shows the printer applying the first layer. As you can see, there are no scratches, bubbles, flaws, or inaccuracies. Any 3D printer owner knows that the first layer is the most important layer and I wanted to show how the JGAURORA A5 handles the most important part of the print) (Photos shown show what the prints look like straight out of the box, with no adjustments or tweaks, using a FREE slicer program. The lines, The ones you see on these prints are purely user error and are intended to simulate how JGAURORA handles a print when the slicer has not been tweaked by the experts (e.g. a student and a new user can interact with the printer) Brush minimally Excess plastic off and the supports can be easily removed. Cancel by simply enabling a setting called "Retraction" in any slicer you've used turn. choose)
