Smooth, easy assembly but gave me problems.

Mixed feelings about this printer. It's not necessarily a bad printer, set up was very easy, it took 15 minutes to print, so that's a plus. The quality of the printouts was good and I didn't have too many problems. The bed is good but I would have preferred it not being glued to the aluminum heating plate so I can swap it out if I feel like it or need it for certain materials and that the leveling screws are part of the heating bed that are not can be replaced, a bit annoying, my first one had…

The right choice for a beginner who wanted a good car to start with - EDIT -> Keep an eye on fire!

After reading many reviews and watching many YouTube videos, I decided on two devices: JG Aurora A5 and Creality 3D CR-10s. Very similar in many ways, including build volume. I chose the JG Aurora A5 for the following reasons: Better touch interface (easier to navigate), diamond glass build plate on the JG Aurora, 24v hot plate on the A5 vs just 12v hot plate on the CR-10, restoration after power failure on the A5, smaller footprint and easier setup on the A5. I first became interested in the JGAUROA line of 3D printers when I was looking online for options that I thought would be good for classroom use. I've heard complaints from students and teachers about the 3D printers they are currently using. Students were burned by exposed parts, and teachers constantly had to repair parts that the students intentionally or unintentionally damaged.
