I was trying out a couple of Pi cameras for a project to keep an eye on my dog when I'm not at home. This module works perfectly with raspistill and raspivid. I tested it with Pi 3B+ and Pi Zero W. Worked great. I particularly like the ability to switch lenses. These 12mm lenses work better for my application than the larger CS lenses. As other reviewers point out, be careful when changing lenses. If you mess up the threads, you can replace the mount with one that comes with many 12mm lenses. I see it as picking a lens once and leaving it set instead of switching lenses over and over again. I haven't found a case that would work with them. I use duct tape at the top and bottom to stick it to the body of the Pi and it would be fine for my own hacked camera system. But I'm starting out with 3D printing to make cases for Pi/Cam devices.
