Review on Noctua NH-D9L: High-Performance CPU Cooler with NF-A9 92mm Fan (Brown) by Charles Fowler

Noctua coolers are among the best, if not the best, air coolers on the market. This cooler is no exception. I have it on an overclocked 5820K @ 4.6 and it can handle the heat generated by the CPU. I chose this cooler because of its size. It's not the smallest, but it's not the biggest either. I needed something that would fit snugly in the Corsair Air 240 and this one had just a few millimeters left. The included fans are 92mm in diameter, so you can't just replace them with a case fan, but that's not necessary with this fan. Noctua fans are known for being exceptionally quiet and expelling a lot of air. Packaging: Noctua always has great packaging and this is no exception. There was enough padding and cardboard in the box to ensure it was not damaged in transit. Installation: The X99 board was incredibly easy. All details were included as well as instructions. May I recommend? Absolutely. This is my third Noctua cooler that I have bought. I have 2 others in a 4U rackmount case. I wouldn't spend my money on it if I didn't know its value.
