Slow cooking has stopped working. After standing for several hours with a 3/4 full pot of chili, he only got 175 degrees Fahrenheit on a thermometer. I had to put this beautiful new pot on the stove against my will. This probably works well as a pot, but interferes with slow cook settings. 100% not recommendedEdit: I tested this on my old pot. After about 2 hours, the cold tap water in this pot was several degrees hotter than the original ceramic pot using the same slow cook setting. That being said, I think the problem with slow cooking is with the appliance, not the pot.
