*Update* After I wrote my initial review, the company was quick to respond and sent me a replacement. After testing a new device for a week - and actually trying to replicate the problem - I can say with confidence that the device works very well. I think it was a bad wire that burned the old block. This shouldn't have happened, but I appreciate the company's responsiveness and willingness to make things right. 5 stars for the replacement unit, bringing my overall rating to 3 stars. 2 hours as expected. I turned it off and it worked fine for 2.5 hours until I turned it off. Today I connected it to a wireless network and decided to connect it during use so as not to drain the battery. Only after 1 minute did I smell burned! Reacting quickly, I grabbed the plug (melted and insanely hot) and ripped it out of the device. I burned my thumb and will certainly NOT be using this faulty product again. This is such a danger! Don't burn your house. I should get a refund.
