The bearing began to fail shortly after use to the point that it overheated and shut off the pump. Initially the pump was really good in terms of suction, pressure and flow. I disassembled it to diagnose the bearing, I will look for a replacement for it. For the price I would have expected a little longer lifespan, it's still brand new. FYI I made sure to charge the pump before use and there is adequate suction lift and no piping restrictions. EDIT: After contacting the seller, the pump was within 1 year. Guaranteed, they sent me a replacement immediately. I have changed my rating to reflect the new pump which works great. I removed the failed pump and replaced the bearings (ball bearings 6201-2RS 12mm x 32mm x 10mm and 6202-2RS 15mm x 35mm x 11mm) and they are now working again.
