As a longtime bitcoin enthusiast, KeepKey first caught my attention in 2016 when I heard about some of its unique features on a bitcoin podcast. At the time I wasn't thinking of buying one as I already had a Trezor and thought the KeepKey would be redundant and unnecessary. This assumption turned out to be wrong. Fast forward to today and KeepKey is now my favorite hardware wallet. I would recommend KeepKey to both new and experienced users. The KeepKey client currently supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum and Dash. All your accounts are visible in an intuitive, user-friendly interface, and you can create as many accounts as you like for each coin. What sets KeepKey apart from Trezor is not only the range of supported altcoins, but also the built-in ShapeShift integration, which allows you to exchange/trade coin pairs within the app itself. This streamlined process allows you to switch between coins easily and securely, knowing your KeepKey is protecting your funds on both sides of the transaction. big enough so you don't forget it's in your pocket. --KeepKey has a larger screen with more readable font (compared to Trezor's smaller screen and font which can be difficult to read). --KeepKey looks crisp. has a stylish design; but from a layman's perspective, it's invisible (reminiscent of a new external hard drive). The easy navigation of the user interface makes it a great device for beginners; The many features available make it a great device for advanced users. CONS: - The KeepKey Launcher extension needs to be included in the KeepKey client application, so users only need to download one item. – The BTC balance must also show the equivalent in US dollars, so the current value of the assets can be seen. Old accounts cannot be removed from view. In my opinion, KeepKey is the best hardware wallet on the market today. It has something for everyone. I would have no hesitation in buying it for those who are struggling with technology, the parents of baby boomers who want to buy and hold and then secure and forget. I also wouldn't hesitate to buy one for a tech-savvy friend who frequently holds and trades a number of different altcoins. The KeepKey retails for $99, and it offers tremendous value at that price point. Get yours while you still can. You will not regret it!
