Installed behind my back door on my 2006 Ford F250 6.0L SuperDuty Truck; I tied it to the license plate light as I want it to turn on when the headlights are on. Not as an additional brake light. The back door has been removed for ease of installation. which was easy. The red +12V wire is a bit short, but with an extension cord I was able to easily connect it to the car's existing lighting system. The supplied screws hold the device in place and also provide a ground connection. LEDs are bright; I'm a happy customer. A cool and inexpensive upgrade for the bed of a truck. Update June 2017: Headlights still work great.
