This is the best little solution to a big problem. Now that there are so many electrical devices in the office, it's best to have a power outlet on your desk for easy charging or just general power supply. I have one in my home office that I can plug my phone or laptop into when needed without having to crawl under my desk. I have one in my work office that I use in the same way, but also plugs in my portable kettle and other things I need to plug and unplug regularly. It is excellent. And the button on top turns off the power ports when you need them. I turn mine off every night when I leave the office.
