UPDATE: 4/23/19 Already received a replacement printer. The first print on the new machine was successful without any problems. We look forward to a long, quiet future of beautiful, perfect prints. Will update again in 60 days, fingers crossed, refreshingly boring status, all right. My score looks like this. 5 big bright stars on day 1-59, then incident drops to 1 weak bucket point, then support steps in and +2 for a quick no-questions-asked replacement. 4 star potential if it lasts a few months. If it feels like I'm going back and forth it's because I really like the car and still think it's a good buy with user caution being paramount due to the lack of multiple safety features. UPDATE: 4/20/19. In less than 60 days he died in a spectacular and dangerous way. let out all the smoke (Total about 3 rolls printed and only 2 rejects. Let's be honest I use it a lot including very long prints lasting over 24 hours). Press the home button and smoke just came out. I didn't stop until I parked the car. I'm sure it could have caught fire and destroyed the whole house if I hadn't stood by. Nervous even trying to fix it now. Zero protection for customer safety. No thermal runaway protection (thermal runaway wouldn't prevent this issue, but firmware should still have it as the only data to change), no fuses, what's up with that? End of February, first impressions: By far the best result for your 3D print. Tank. I've been using it continuously since I received it about 2 weeks ago. I've pumped through 2 1kg spools and not a single error or unsuccessful print through the printer. I, on the other hand, told him to type in the air, which he did beautifully. The heated bed is quite flat as can be seen in the image measured by the bltouch sensor. With the autolevel mod it works great without autolevel, there weren't a dozen issues either or the prints I did without. My only gripe is the obscene dean plug scam that has reports of melting, a noisy fan, and MAYBE the control board. But the control board is only because it's pretty limited in terms of modding, but for $200 I can really complain about that, I can add a duo if needed, and I'm golden. In the form supplied, the printer is very expensive. With a few mods it really shines and is a joy to use. The included mods on my printer that helped me get these prints are bltouch and octopi, bullseye fan duct, noctura fans. Parts are very cheap for spares and mods so just buy them.
