While the device looks solid and well tested, the claim that it supports lithium and custom batteries is misleading. To be clear, the EPEVER MPPT solar charge controller DOES NOT SUPPORT lithium batteries or custom battery options. This is a VERY MISTAKE and I just hope I can save others from wasting their time. I have had many charge controllers over the years and they are all configured directly on the device so this is very unusual.
