After several rounds of installing various drivers and applications I still couldn't get this adapter to connect my monitor to my laptop. . I got to the point where I could mirror my display and after trying to extend it it reverted to weird behavior and showed a static MagicLink screen that I couldn't hover over to do anything do. too much frustration and troubleshooting trying to get this to work properly. What's even worse is the fact that the user manual didn't provide any troubleshooting instructions for one common scenario I've encountered and probably many others based on other negative reviews I've read. So I'm sending this junk back. and buying a more expensive plug and play dock is what I should have done in the first place. I just thought this thing would be easy to use, but apparently the EZLink app software and user interface leaves a lot to be desired.
