It takes patience and time.
I have a 2013 Impala and the noise was terrible. Here's a hint. Remove the glove box to access the two drives. Lean on the driver's side for better visibility and access. I used a swivel attached to a string to attach it to the socket to remove and replace the screws. They are plastic and do not need to be overtightened. Many good videos and tips on YouTube have helped.
