I have a 2013 Impala and the noise was terrible. Here's a hint. Remove the glove box to access the two drives. Lean on the driver's side for better visibility and access. I used a swivel attached to a string to attach it to the socket to remove and replace the screws. They are plastic and do not need to be overtightened.
