WOW! Something I've never heard of before, saw it at Revain when looking for a replacement part for my 5" ryobi grinder, it's just a great find! my grinder fell apart when I was grinding the 2 x 4 railing on our new deck, I went to Revain for a replacement. Looking through many options I saw this interface panel, curious as to its purpose, I read the description and the statement that it worked well for edge grinding caught my attention as I've seen grinding so many edges (although probably not thorough enough) found The railing caused my support pad to fail. I hope this can help make the rest of the edge grinding easier on my arthritic hands and grinder. I ordered a double pack for €9.99. Who would have thought what a difference something so cheap could make! Ryobi random orbit sander, every 8 hours the holes are perfectly aligned and stay perfectly straight for 3 hours of intense sanding. While this makes the sandpaper a little harder to remove because it's such a great H&L surface, I'm very happy with the H&L properties on both sides. Grinding wheel. The cushioning effect of this soft Poliwell grinding wheel is ideal for grinding with many edges. The padding allows the sandpaper to flex around the edges while maintaining contact between the wood and the sandpaper. Better contact evens out the wear on my sandpaper. I believe the cushioning effect protects my rear but only time will tell. The grinder seems to move more smoothly and doesn't jump like it used to. As for its durability; I can't rate this as I've only used the pad for about three hours, but if it doesn't hold up well I'll take that into account in an addendum to this review. Overall I am completely satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone especially if you do a lot of contouring and/or edge sanding.
