Nicely Weighted Practice Stick With Flexible Shaft

The Rookie Rookie Weighted Practice Club was ordered for my daily warm-up and stretching exercises which aid my golf game. Package, the first thing that struck me was that there was a professional Golf Pride grip on the end of the club grip. That alone gave me confidence in this device as I have seen other devices with traditional grips that were poorly made. The baton is weighted at one end and attached to a somewhat flexible rod. When gently swung at medium speed, this shaft helps create the feel the racquet should feel at the moment of impact. I love the fact that it also helps develop good body rotation on the backswing and creates a smooth swing on the way down. The racquet cannot be flipped without experiencing a terrible feeling at the end of the swing. It's also designed to help add extra distance with each shot. I don't entirely agree with this concept for various reasons, but if so, all the better. This should certainly help with accuracy, but swinging this stick vigorously won't increase travel distance unless body rotation is increased through repeated use. It has a "click" sound that is triggered when the bat is on its way. down into the swing and should snap near the impact point at the bottom of the swing. I'm also not sure if this click is entirely accurate as the click occurs about 18-24 inches from the bottom of my swing and in my many years of golfing I've always had good timing. CONCLUSION: I like it. Training device and a device for warming up. It has a well weighted end, great golf grip and flexible shaft. This will definitely help keep my body flexible during the winter months and will be helpful when I train in the spring and summer. I would order this product again.
