This product is great if you are trying to build a solid state heater. However, when attempting to use it to cool a liquid that is flowing through a system as intended, the heatsink cannot dissipate the heat fast enough to justify the thermal electric cooling effect. When the system first booted I was able to get a temperature difference of 20C after running the unit for about 5-7 minutes, with the heatsink getting so hot it seeped back to the other side of the chip, killing anything cooling effect. Perhaps adding copper heatsinks and a more powerful CFM fan could make a bigger difference.
