There should be an insulator under each bracket at the top of the water bottles to prevent heat from entering from the other side of the Peltier chips. I modified it by placing gaskets under each mount and a fan that pulls all hot or cold air away from the unit. Works perfectly! 🥰💯💯

I needed an inexpensive water cooler for my one bucket hydroponic system. All I had to do was remove the heatsinks, reverse the Peltier chips and reassemble. This product is great if you are trying to build a solid state heater. However, when attempting to use it to cool a liquid that is flowing through a system as intended, the heatsink cannot dissipate the heat fast enough to justify the thermal electric cooling effect.
