it has a good temperature range up to boiling point. It has a good design that fits even in large cups and it is easy to use. My only complaint is that the button is too sensitive to touch. If you're not careful, you'll end up raising the temperature or turning on accidentally. It's not easy to tell if the stove is hot, so you need to be sure you never touch it. After a few burned fingers, I now leave it unplugged when not in use and never touch the record. It would be nice if there was a way to indicate when the plate is hot. However, I believe that the ease of use outweighs the dangers, which is why I gave it four stars.
