As others have said, "It should have been a recall." I had an issue where my 2013 F-150 happened to be would not start as if it had no gas. Luckily I found a forum that mentioned an issue with a blown fuel pump fuse. When I pulled mine out it was a little melted and the metal was slightly obscured by sparks. I replaced it with a new fuse. But to really fix it, you just have to get this kit or you'll end up with the same problem over and over again. This is really easy to fix and there are some really helpful videos on YouTube on how to do it.
