Works great with the 65-inch Samsung: economical, beautiful and solidly built.
I wanted a wooden base (as opposed to glass) so I could easily attach the base to the shelf that the TV will be standing on. I was concerned that chipboard/MDF/whatever base material might not be strong enough, but it appears strong and is also reinforced underneath by a horizontal steel structure connected to the main vertical steel support post. It was easy to drill and screw the earthquake proof base to my shelf. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and the ease of installation. This item comes with instructions and a set of metric screws to fit any modern television. The instructions state a maximum screen size of 55 inches, but my 65 looks ok.
