This is a great idea. I couldn't find the exact outside diameter of the screen globe listed on the ad, but I took a chance on it. I have a basic $25 Coleman lantern, the screen was about 3-4 mm to big to fit inside the bottom lip where the globe rests, so I kind of just squished it in to place. I'm wondering if it will expand much as I run the lantern on high and further distort the screen, or if I can heat it up with a torch to expand it, and fit it over the bottom lip of my lantern to make a nicer fit.
