What can I say about the V-Gard Cap Style Hard Hat Ear Defenders apart from "Wow!"? Firstly, the improved comfort makes it so easy to wear them all day long, without feeling like your head is in a vice. The helmet mountable feature is a great touch, as it means I can easily move around on site without having them continuously knocked off my head. But the real star of the show is the hearing protection. The option to select low, medium, or high attenuation levels is fantastic, as it allows you to customize the amount of noise that you want to hear. Despite the level of protection, the ear defenders still enable you to hear your co-workers without having to shout at them, preserving those social connections on the job that make work meaningful. All in all, I give these ear defenders a 5 star rating, for being the best thing that has ever happened to me on a noisy worksite, and also for the fun nickname possibilities (I'm sticking with ear-muffins).
