We Love It: Tote Bags & Travel Products

From the moment my pup put it in it for the first time, my pup took to this sling and loved it. She is calm and pretends that I am holding her. In fact, I'm holding her because she's so small and young that I still don't feel comfortable hanging the noose around my waist. It seems best to train the pup to positive and safe use before letting go. I don't risk her getting out of there. I was afraid it would be too low. For me this is completely normal. I'm 5ft 9" and given the dog's weight, he hangs around my waist or slightly higher. In the photo, I'm propping her up so she looks a lot shorter without stretching. It's easy for the dog to feel and see some of your movement. I also bought a dog bag that looks like a large shopping bag. That's good, but the dog experiences additional movement/jumping with the one it's missing. A sling is more like holding a dog. I expect to use it extensively during my first year with a puppy until she eventually outgrows it.
