Drawers do not slide well

Bought as a gift. Looks great and is definitely worth the money. Looks good but one of the drawers doesn't slide out well. Maybe I got a defective part? In addition, it is very difficult to take it out with food. The only way to get it out is to turn it upside down before you put everything on it. I've tried wax, oil and other things to make it smoother but it didn't work.
