They are not very strong
The first one I installed broke inside when I shut the door. I replaced it with the second one and it didn't break. However the magnet is weak and after about an hour i would hear the door slam open. I bought a thin earthmagnet from Lee Valley hardware to mount on the metal catch and that holds it.
