Love this scope! This is my first spotting scope. I'm a hunter and needed something to spot big game from afar. There is no doubt that I can spot an animal over 2 miles away. The range in this scope helps me determine the animal's characteristics before tracking it with a trunk (horns, sex, age, size, etc.) and then through standard binoculars. could determine some characteristics to decide whether to continue or not. β’ Full zoom, as everyone says, is bad quality. Between 75/80 zoom, the focus is absolutely terrible. I think that's mainly because glass is sensitive to heatwaves in the air and just can't focus behind them. But that's fine with me because I don't need 100% clarity, I just need to see the animal β’ The phone adapter was one of my favorite accessories that came with it. It's all solid metal and I have to say it exceeded my expectations for durability. I thought it was cheap junk plastic but NO! I can throw it in my backpack without worrying about it breaking. β’ case. The case is nothing fancy, a flimsy, cheap material that I think will wear out in my backpack for years to come. The strap is lightly sewn to the case and can easily be torn. The zipper is also of minimal quality β’ The Tripeak is only suitable for use on a table. It's short, only raising the visor about a foot off the ground. I still find it useful for my purpose. I lay back on the slope and put two tripod legs on mine and the other on the belt buckle. No matter how you use it or what you use it for, the pan adjustment is reliable. The zoom was at least 60 and it was a very windy day. When the tripod was mounted on the hood of my jeep, the wind shook both the tripod and the jeep. But here are quality examples to help you decide if it's right for you or not.
