Review on Arrow RT200MKIT Headless One Handed Riveter by Brian Rogers

Simplicity and comfort of use

I confess that I rarely need a riveting tool. Riveting is one of those jobs that I very rarely have to do, and I've always done it the "hard way" that I was taught. This was my first time using a real riveting tool and it's definitely easier than doing everything by hand. Most of those reading this and looking at this tool already know the basic process and how it works, so I won't explain the whole procedure. for using this. I will say that this works the same way anchor bolts do. The set includes drill bits, three different sizes of rivets and the riveting tool itself. To say it has everything you need would be a lie; At the very least, you'll need a drill if you don't already have a properly sized hole for the rivet you're installing. The handle has a little side play and can get caught if you're not careful. Otherwise it's a solid tool and seems to last a long time with moderate use. Due to the wobbling of the handle, I would probably choose a different tool for more professional work, but it may work. This is a processing error, not a product defect, but it is misleading. As for the riveting work, it works well. This requires little hand strength, but neither does it require a death grip, and operation is simple - squeeze the grip a few times until the rivet clicks and the post disengages. That's all - no rocket science. This tool makes riveting a lot easier than trying to rivet something entirely by hand. So far I haven't had a good riveting solution other than the most basic method I've been taught, but now I have a simple solution that works well. The cost of the tool is reasonable and it works well enough for almost all home projects.
