This is the third inverter I have made bought for work and home. None of them broke. people take them. In fact, after a single use, this one disappeared when I left it in the car for maintenance. Pooh! Anyway, people like these things for free and I'm going to buy another one. They are useful for many devices that you plug into the wall of your home. We use it to charge our phones (the car's built-in one doesn't seem to work!), charge backup batteries, connect a laptop when the battery is low, or run the aquarium's AC air pumps to keep the fish alive to get when I take her to work. This is the second one I've bought to fit in a cup holder. You don't have to put it in your cup holder when you need it for a cup, but it keeps the inverter in one place for easy access and checking that it's working. I think everyone should have one.
