I didn't know which citronella collar to try. There are several to choose from. Some are remote controlled and will not function without your participation. Others do. Some have built in rechargeable batteries and some have batteries that I'm not familiar with. We have a small dog (Bitza) who is a very affectionate dog. There's just one problem: she barks and barks and barks and barks and saved her neighbor last week. As a postal worker, I understand how annoying this is. In utter desperation, I looked for something that would stop this dog from barking at everything (e.g. cats purposely taunting him, children playing outside the house, someone passing by on a bicycle, a person walking by the mother passes by and she takes the child with her). from a kindergarten nearby). We have a clicker. He was ineffective. And I wasn't keen on the idea of a stun collar. We put it on and she barked once. The second resulted in her neck being splattered (I wondered if it would get in her eyes, and luckily it didn't). She ran from what she barked at. I'll admit that she seemed a little depressed the first day we put the collar on, but she didn't seem to care. Everything is much calmer now, including her. She's less likely to get angry and knows she can bark at least once. It really changed the rules of the game for us. You don't have to push it back in every time a "groove" appears on its periphery. And now she's able to participate in more activities and meet more people because she's not overreacting, so to be honest I think it's going to be a win-win. /ears, that can be triggered by vibrations, and I think she's slowly learning not to do that when wearing a collar. (Use about four days). Other than that, I can't even describe how much peace he gave us and to be honest, even the dog seems much more balanced and content. Our dog barks loudly. You can hear it a block or two away, so going into crazy mode means you'll almost go deaf. I'd say if you come across this, re-read the instructions (these are the basic instructions). Make sure it's really charged and turned on and that there's "juice" in the collar. If you are still facing the problem I would say it may be faulty and contact the seller. The previous reviews I read showed me that this seller can be trusted which is another reason why I chose him. good for the dog, not ONLY for us. - July 06, 2021
