Compare the Airforce filter to the Dometic Sealand ECO filter (which we have used in the past). The Dometic Sealand ECO uses less carbon to reduce running costs and is said to perform better with the new narrow-centre filter shape. The Airforce filter is a straight tube and contains more carbon to absorb more odors. Dometic Sealand ECO Filter also sends parts that you do not need. And if you have any other size filter than 5/8 inch, you will have to use their expensive filter when using their fittings in the future. How is ECO throwing away all those extra plastic parts you paid for? Dometic Sealand ECO needs assembly, it's not plug and play, it also uses O-rings if you lose one, what's next? Too complicated, too expensive, wasteful and not very efficient in my opinion. I have already walked this path with Dometic Sealand ECO. Save money and buy an Airforce filter. Take the Airforce filter out of the box, slide the fitting onto the ends and snap into place. That's all! The Airforce filter stopped the odor immediately. If you are looking for a great filter at a great price that fits perfectly and performs better and lasts longer, I recommend Airforce filters.
