So far satisfied boat installation

Works no worse than twice the price. I thought the kit would have clips holding it in place (shown in photo when purchased). But I could think of something.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Best Aftermarket Filter

I've tried several aftermarket filters in the same price range and after flushing I've always had an odor that nobody wants, but not with AirForce! I change the filter on my single head VacuFlush system every spring. Save some money and go with it.

Pros
  • Free for Educational Purposes
Cons
  • It's OK

Doesn't do anything better when rowing and sailing

I installed this on my 42 gallon Sealand storage tank last week. Fits perfectly but is completely useless. It does nothing to filter out the odor when the head is washed. I might as well put a straight hose in place of my old filter. My old Sealand filter was at least 3 years old and more efficient than this thing. I'll throw it in the trash and order a new Sealand filter.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

Terrible breather filter. I bought two of these so I have a spare on the boat. I installed the first one a month ago and it was fine for about a week then I smelled it again (never overfilled the tank or hit the filter) so I replaced it with the second one again. The second literally did nothing, my storage tank was about 1/4 full and the smell was awful. Bought a Dometic factory replacement for a lot of money and haven't had any problems for the past month. Those things are useless if you buy…

Better and cheaper than Dometic Sealand

Compare the Airforce filter to the Dometic Sealand ECO filter (which we have used in the past). The Dometic Sealand ECO uses less carbon to reduce running costs and is said to perform better with the new narrow-centre filter shape. The Airforce filter is a straight tube and contains more carbon to absorb more odors. Dometic Sealand ECO Filter also sends parts that you do not need. And if you have any other size filter than 5/8 inch, you will have to use their expensive filter when using their…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • Almost OK
