I bought this to gild a laser etched logo on oil rubbed rosewood. The only trouble I had was masking such a small area and the grain of the wood happened to run perpendicular to the direction of the etching so the tack was hard to keep from seeping into unmasked areas-it naturally wanted to follow the grooves of the rosewood grain and not the etched areas. After a bit of toothpick sanding of overleafed areas and about two or three layers of leaf I sealed it and overall I am satisfied. I'm at the 6 month mark and it's still just as shiny as day one. Ample sheets, I must have used only 2 or 3.
