Bought to replace the bulbs on my new teardrop. Ripped out old wiring and fasteners, installed and routed new wiring and parking lights, passenger side taillights do not work but direction indicators work, driver's side tailgate, direction indicators and brakes work. So. First I check the area. The country around is good. There is continuity all around the perimeter and find. The taillights have ground continuity because (1) the driver's side is not fully LED. There's a lightbulb in there, so you can still play around with changing the lightbulb. I. (2) After disconnecting the connector, the rear lights are connected to the ground in the connector by a cross wire. It's just poor connector quality and that explains why everything else coming off the brown wire didn't work because they got power to ground, but the green and yellow circuits did. Maybe I got a bad kit late Friday night, whatever. I went to the auto parts store, bought a new harness and new marker and tail lights. Connected from scratch and earned the first time (if you think I don't know what I'm doing, but I do).
