started with green-blue. I confess I didn't start at the top, I got the SPIRIT and moved all the pearls up by one. I've come to the end and according to the scheme I was missing a row. I neglected to apply the bottom black paint to create a dot and triple checked my accuracy. counted all the pins in both directions. this is the wrong pattern! I have weaved "melted beads" at summer camps and with my kids. I know what it takes to "fuse" them, and it rarely looks as great as it does in photos. They were so far apart I had to melt the crap out of them. I was afraid I would melt the pins on the peg board (that happens!). On the one hand, they haven't moved far enough apart to merge. So I glued them to the ironing paper, carefully turned them over, I had to fold the paper in half and then iron on the back. The result was a HUGE, thin, gooey mass that was in no way the "quill" you see here. The hole for the jump ring closed. I tried "trimming" the edges with scissors because some of them were straight and some still looked a bit like round beads. it was a mess too. I will try some other samples. maybe not diagonally to have so many gaps. but for me. this pattern with this set was a NO! I would probably complain about the tiny beads if I didn't buy the tweezers. It would be a shame to try to place them without tweezers or other bead placement tools. At first I hated the tweezers trying to grab the ball from the outside. I finally found that if you put one part of the tweezers in the bead and the other part out, you can "normally" put it on the pin like that. Sometimes it gets stuck and you have to shake it off and start over. If there were tweezers in the kit I would give at least one star. I am only reviewing this set and I absolutely hate it.
