The suitcase may be good for some people, but before you buy it, you must understand your needs and goals well! I'm "researching" what I think I need and bought this case to replace my 7 year old mATX Silverstone box. My goals were: β’ Upgrade the PC for better performance β’ Use all the functionality of the old PC β’ VERY quiet operation. This means everything is working fine β’ External Blue Ray drive is fine β’ 2 SSDs β’ Connections needed: o 4 external USBs o 1 optical audio o 1 Enet connection o 1 DVI ο Would like to port this to a graphics card in 2016 o 1 HDMI o 1 Bluetooth antenna β’ Reuse existing peripherals I built a new PC with: β’ Silverstone FT03 mini chassis β’ Gigabyte LGA1151 Z170 mITX motherboard; with 6600 i5, 16 GB memory, SSD with M2 interface β’ CoolerMaster Nepton 120XL water cooling β’ 500 GB SATA SSD β’ SeaSonic 650 W PS ο after reading some reviews I realized that the size would not be an issue. The setup matched well with the results: β’ Completed in about 4 hours within 1 week. β’ All components fit: o The case required an ATX power supply conversion, as described in the SalemSwift test. I also drilled a mounting hole for a little extra PS support. o I replaced 2 fans with Noctura 140mm and 120mm for quiet operation. o I had to drill a small hole in the bottom panel of the case to route the fan cable into the case. o The cooler was lighter than expected! β’ Good news: o Very cool company! o Very quiet, almost noiseless operation. o The i5 processor shows a significant increase in performance over my old 9550 processor. β’ Bad news: o Internal cable management is very poor. Most cable problems are due to using an ATX power supply and a CPU cooler. Modular power cords have a large fixed length. But everything can be installed. The result is doable but difficult to process. I did NOT plug the graphics card into the assembly. Seems to fit, but... o External cable management doesn't work. You can't get all the PC connections I need from the "top" panel of the case. I can get anything to work if I don't already install the top plate which is aesthetically ugly as all the cables come out of the case. And the motherboard is stressed when all cables are connected and routed at 90 degree angles as required when using the panel. USB connections failed multiple times due to busy connections. While the main issue is with the DVI and HDMI cables, there isn't enough room for the external cables that I need to connect. I decided on the Cooler Master Silencio 352 case. It takes less than 2 hours to set up without any problems and there is plenty of room for expansion!
