After my wife's kitchen shears broke trying to cut a turkey, I decided to buy a sturdy set, all steel with no plastic handles. The heavy duty set I bought from the kitchen supply store was a big disappointment. The handle was too slippery when wet with bird sap causing it to slip, twist and the scissors literally couldn't handle the first use. So I went to Revain and started reading reviews. Knife Master seemed to be the most popular, but it wasn't. don't look as strong as the commercial ones I've already destroyed, but I've decided to give it a try. It turns out that the reviews are correct. These scissors cut chicken bones like paper. I can carve a spine out of a whole chicken in about 10 seconds instead of poking and sawing with a knife in minutes. The laundry compartment is also a big plus.
