I started cgm in Dec '19 and haven't had great results. That was until I discovered that you need to use products based on your hair's porosity, not the type of curl. It's like buying a cleanser based on face shape and not skin type, it won't work. I have low porosity hair and this is the only deep conditioner that really helps! This has been going on for a while because I use it with a thermal cap after bleaching and it really gets into my hair and really moisturizes it. Others I've tried just sit on my hair and then rinse it out. The smell of this product is kind of funky, like play dough with a hint of floral scent. Not terrible, but I wouldn't call it "island fantasy". The good news is that it doesn't remain after you wash it off. My only complaint about this product is not even the product itself but the packaging - the hole is very small and the product is difficult to push out because it is so thick. I want them to change one thing. Other than that, I love this product and will definitely keep buying it!
