I have a kitchen boa that I bought at a local bookstore after seeing it in a boutique elsewhere. Mine is well made and the towel piece at each end is heavy and soft. It's so handy in the kitchen that I decided to give it to my niece for Christmas. I ordered this one but was disappointed when it arrived. The price was the same as mine but the material was stiffer and seemed cheaper. The towel's red material at each end was slightly faded, as if it had been washed. The boa appears to have been thrown into a shipping box and had no plastic or protection. (To be fair, it was the holiday season and I'm sure the people who fill orders were under a lot of pressure to get things asap.) Didn't have time to buy another gift, so I gave it to my niece afterwards. Since she didn't have anything quite like it, I hoped she wouldn't notice his flaws. My advice: if you're giving this as a gift, order it ahead of time so you can check the quality, or buy it from the store. If it's just for you, its usefulness may be enough depending on your expectations.
