Review on XG 1150 Speed 10 42T Bicycle Cassette by Paul Ruberto

This is the "budget" 1X cassette in the SRAM line. Replaced my (1199) XX1 used by a friend very cheaply, no complaints yet. It's a bit "chunkier" than the XX1 and heavier, but it works and that's the point! A little advice given to me by someone more motivated to find the difference in weight when spinning this cartridge compared to the "bit" XX1 lighter. He said the weight difference between the 1150 and 1199 would feel like a 4g increase in tire weight in terms of rotational weight and performance impact, which really isn't that much. To sum it up, buy this and save your weight loss money elsewhere. I would also like to point out that I chose these over the 1170 and 1175 because a lot of people had problems with these cartridges. Well those issues may have been fixed by SRAM here in 2018 but if you consider them for the weight. see paragraph 1. You may also save some money as you will only see very small increases in performance.
