Review on πŸ’ͺ WEN 73016 Heavy-Duty Chrome Shop Bar Stool with 300-Pound Weight Capacity by Jill Bell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Economical when used as intended.

First review. The set is the same as the work chair. Immediately after unpacking, I noticed a not very smooth finish on the chrome part of the stool. While I didn't expect perfection, I did expect quality. The welds of the round tube were not smooth, we could have made this point less noticeable. The rest looked like scratches. While this is a small improvement, it's clear that quality/performance is not the top priority. The instructions are, well, not really any, just a parts manual (maybe 4 pages). Assembling the part with a short test of patience. As with everything I do, I immediately rush to collect without thinking first. When I put the big pipe around the stool, I tightened all the screws. This made it impossible to insert bolts through the top tube. I ended up loosening the nuts on the bolts and adjusting everything as small as possible, then gradually tightening alternating opposite bolt positions with lime, much like tire bolts. This upset me, and one of them undressed himself, it's ok, I have something to replace. The Stoll pillow itself is made of vinyl with the orange name WEN. It lacks the thickness of the cushion and I would suggest the company attaches the cushion to the outside edge of the wooden base. Without them, it tends to dig into the back of the thighs. Obviously at 10pm I wasn't expecting a Rolls Royce stool, but rather a Kia. I got exactly that, a great price for a very functional product that does the job and looks good. With a few issues I had I couldn't give 5 stars but for the price I have to give a fair review. If I had paid 50.00 for it I would say 2.5-3 stars.
