To be fair, the ultrasonic cleaner didn't clean the parts shown in these photos without my input and a soft toothbrush to polish the parts, but without this handy gadget. Dandy gadget, there's no way I could clean them up like I do. I have found that heavily tarnished silver pieces can take a few cycles in the machine to really achieve the desired effect. I combine each jewelry cleaning with the iSonic UltraSonic cleaning solution, which feels like a concentrated cleaning agent, and then sit back in my chair in awe. When cleaning other items, only water was enough. I was skeptical that a $38 machine could actually do all of the things advertised (eyeglasses, jewelry, etc.), but I've now tried this machine to clean pretty much everything, including eyeglasses. , watches, rings, even my fee (I know, nasty), and it really works wonders. I love the fact that there are different time settings - 180 seconds is fine for lightly soiled items, but I've used up to 480 seconds per cycle for heavily tarnished sterling silver items and then another 480 seconds for the degas button. The great thing about this machine is that you can't go wrong unless you use the wrong cleaning solution in it.
