We ordered the medium size up to an age of 4-6, so a size 6 fits my son. My son is 6 years old but he is a little smaller than average. So usually wears a 5 in shorts and a 6 in pants (just for the length) so I knew the mufflers were going to be a bit large. But it's good to have a tip. When he jumps in the pool, his legs roll up because they're a bit loose. He swims 4 days a week and only wears them for a month while we have had them for a month now with no problems. So we will order in the future.
