Holds hair dryer, flat iron, curling iron, brush and comb. Holds up well in vertical position, had no problems with falls. I would say if you have huge tools this might not work for you. My straightener is thin and my curling iron isn't very big, so I can place both in an open area. You could probably fit a big hair straightener and a small curling iron in there, but maybe not a paddle with a giant curling iron. I bought another one to keep in the guest bathroom when she has friends and family around. I have a travel tool kit that I keep for her. In general, what is designed works, there are no complaints.
