Works which is quite reasonable given the reasonable price. They appear to be a little under-oiled, or maybe the spring is too strong. My Boxster's trunk now opens very quickly, then bounces and bounces a bit as it reaches the top of its travel. They also make a little noise as liquid passes the piston. Again, maybe this is a sign of low oil? They're definitely not as luxurious as the standard OEM parts, but then again they were cheap and my trunk stays open now. They're an appropriate part if you're on a tight budget. If you want your Boxster to be like new I would spend a little more on OEM parts.
