Good case, but fingerprint area bubbles up constantly

I really want to love this case and overall I do. Unfortunately the biggest flaw of the case is the finger print reader area that is on the direct screen. After putting the case together following the instructions all was fine however after about a week or so of usage the fingerprint area starts to bubble up and at this point basically does not stick down and just has become a bubble area unless you press down in the finger print area. I attempted to put the case back together thinking that maybe I can get it to reseal but that didn't work and its still continues to bubble around the area unless being pressed down. It a major annoyance looking at my phone's screen with it like that, however luckily the fingerprint reader still does functionally work at least. The only other issue is over time dust and bits of lint and stuff if the phone is kept in pockets, etc will get trapped under the screen protector and/or the backside of the phone just due to the small vents for the speakers and camera parts. Cleaning the case isn't hard, however it causes the fingerprint area to bubble much worst to the point of constantly fighting with that area to try to get rid of the bubbles.Overall, if you get this case make sure you install it and never plan to take it apart as the fingerprint area is a one and done spot in the case. Not sure if there is any methods to fixing this, but just be warned.

Pros
  • i have been using this brand/model case for about 3-4 phones already
Cons
  • The hybrid design might not offer enough protection for extreme drops
